Villa Nero Gili Trawangan first impression
Villa Nero Gili Trawangan has been on my bucket list even before reaching the island. One day we were on our impromptu trip to Gili, and eventually we decided to book the villa last minute. We were hesitant at first cause none of our friends/relatives book the place before. Then again the photos look so tempting (we were wondering would there be real nice vacation villa in Gili aside from all the mainstream hotels on the beach front). As I were real curious, I emailed the manager, Made, to book a villa for us.
Villa Nero Gili Trawangan facilities
We walked from the beachfront from this place, it was quite far but everything was so worth it (we took the horse carriage - cidomo on our way back to the port next day). I had almost nothing to complain about. The villa is pretty new with modern minimalist architecture. It it has nice little terrace, bedding was perfect, and the villa complex of Villa Nero Gili Trawangan is really photogenic. They provide free bicycle and cute beach bag for us to bring. The pool was clean and breakfast was awesome.
The room review
Every room at Villa Nero Gili Trawangan is like a house by its own. With big wooden door and a little terrace, it gives you enough privacy on your own. Like the common area, the room is just as minimalist yet stylish. The queen bed has a wooden frame that matches the cupboard. All the furnitures are pretty solid. Nevertheless, I would just wish that their bathroom floor was not that slippery (it's because of the tile and the shower location I suppose) Aside from that we are so thrilled! Service was good, staffs are polite and informative, and check in was fast. I could not expect anything better.
