A weekend in manila
Manila is a modern bustling city, especially at the heart of the city like in Makati or Alabang. The best time to visit Manila is around january and February because of its delightful weather and low rain. Upon arrival at NAIA airport, you can choose to take the UBE express or Grab car (online app) to your hotel.Visiting Bonafacio Global City Manila
One of the well known districts in Manila is BGC or Bonafacio Global City. The place itself is a huge commercial and financial area. There are tons of local brands as well as restaurants and cafes to satisfy your craving. If you are inquisitive, you can try to visit The Mind Museum which is a science museum and exhibit.Food to try in Manila
Tatang's Extra Crispy Boneless LechonFilipino dish is made of 80% pork dishes. One of the most famous dishes you should try is lichen which is crispy pork.
Location: 1777 Nicanor Garcia, Makati, 1208 Metro Manila
Try Adobo sold at a Jollijeep
Jollijeep is a local food stall in the Philippines. They serve various local dishes and you can let them know which dish you want. The stall is located at the side street, perhaps not the most convenient way of eating. My trick? Bring the food back to the hotel or your airbnb. What's interesting is the adobo dish, which is a chicken or pork stewed in fragrant garlic, soy sauce, and peppercorn paste.
Location: Jollijeep at Carlos Palanca Street
Ramen Nagi
Ramen Nagi is a Japanese ramen chain well known for its Kyushu style noodle and Tonkotsu broth. Their soup can be customised to your liking. I personally prefer the original one.
Location: L223 2nd Level, One Bonifacio High Street Mall, 5 Avenue cor, 28th St, Taguig
Harlan + Holden Coffee
Harlan + Holden Coffee is a coffee chain by a fashion brand under the same name. They have a minimalist character for their interior and coffee cups, dominated by grey, concrete, and touch of gold. They are a cashless coffee joint, so you can order through app and pay via credit card through the app as well.
Location: One Bonifacio High Street Mall

Arabica Manila W City Center
The Japanese coffee chain is now also available in Manila. Their coffee is made by using 100% Arabica beans (hence the name Arabica and the % logo). Like their other counter in Japan or Singapore, the one in Manila is dominated by white coloured interior, glass, and wood furnishing. My favourite is their iced caffe latte.
Location: W City Center Bonafacio Global City
Unit 1, G/F W City Center, 7th. Ave. Cor. 30th. St, Taguig, Kalakhang Maynila, Philippines
