sapto djojokartiko pret a porter 2012

Elegant, intricate, and modern are the words describing this ready to wear collection. Taking cue from Sapto's couture colleciton, this pret a porter collection embodies the beauty of floral- print or texture, in mostly sleek cutting silhouette. From working attire to evening pieces, they are presented in rich fall colours of black, navy, gold, and red.
Simple drapping with rich texture in this maxi evening dress.
Black lace fabric topped up with gold embroidery for the evening. Looks like it has a hint of traditional kebaya but in a much more contemporary way, making it looks modern. Not mentioning it is wearable and people can connect to it- traditional detail, global style.
Navy blazer has never looked so good with black lace and embelished gold necklace. The gold lips are such a punch too.
Talking about pajama trend dressing, he is one of little amount of indonesian designers that can pull the look exquisitely.
can never get enough of black dress in any form and those pieces above with skyscrapper heels are something i definitely would wear.
the designer, Sapto Djojokartiko himself.
One of my favourite look is this pants suit in al red flower print with bejeweled lapel.
More of the rock studded details.
Love the entire collection, as it has strong voice and character. Art nouveau flower maybe a common source of inspiration, but the process and outcome is astonishing. It definitely brings Indonesian high fashion into another level.
