I embrace the new year with sparks of excitement in my eyes and little buzz of happiness in my stomach. I hope I can share more things in this blog. Sometimes people ask me how do i juggle school, work, blog, and other outside projects. These things require more than logical explanation if you calculate the amount of time and effort to be put in. Truth is, it is the love (of doing what you do) ,which is huge enough, that gets you going, more than any other measurement.
2012 was a big roller coaster journey for me. I think one of the hardest parts of life is deciding whether to walk away or to try harder. Despite the time when i felt that my world split down in the middle, I am so so thankful that I have closest friends that would put their arms around my shoulder just to give comfort.
I appreciate those who dragged me out for dinner and let me ramble for hours, the one who go around town with me doing restaurant hopping just to find nicest dessert, getaway to bali, or the one who just simple bbm me and crank me up with jokes. Especially, all of those who always encourage me to never give up on what I am doing, although there are tons of obstacles. When i looked back, i thought I couldn't make it, but I am surprise that i survive. I will graduate this year and I know that the road to finishing this major is not easy. I am happy for all of my friends who graduate this year too and for those who are venturing into new business, I hope all your efforts are paid off!
If opportunity does not knock, sometimes we are the one who needs to build the door. Don't wait until tomorrow what you can do today- a year from now, you will wish you had started right at this moment. Pray the hardest when it is the hardest time to pray; it will make a difference I assure you. In this new year, also remember to embrace a day with simple things. A day in which the greatest pleasures come from humble ideas, be it a new breakfast recipe or seizing the day taking the route never taken before. I believe love is simple, and we don't have to try to hard to enjoy life and to appreciate what we have.
Happy New Year ! 明けましておめでとうございます !
What is your hope for the new year? :)
