It was the time of the year again for some chill out and travelling out of the bustling city. This time, me and my college friends went to Bali again for one of our friend's wedding (i know, time flies, right?!) We had a chance to drove by Pecatu - Uluwatu to visit El Kabron Spanish Restaurant and Cliff Club.

This place is one of a kind secluded cliff to watch sunset in Bali. To reserve the front sofa, you need to spend minimum IDR 300 000 per person. This restaurant by Chef Marc Torices specialized in Spanish style dishes and the venue is divided by two, the cliff front and the indoor restaurant.

We ordered several different tapas and cocktails which are all tastes good. We are satisfied with the service as our tapas comes quite fast. For tapas, we had mushroom fritters, potato with caviar, and other finger food. For cocktails we had lychee martini, cosmopolitan, and cocktails.

After enjoying the sunset while playing in their pool, we headed to the indoor restaurant for dinner. Their top dish is the paella, traditional spanish rice dish with saffron and chicken or seafood cooked in special pan. Their minimum order is two portion and it took half hour to make. We ordered Arroz al horne con cigalas y calamares. the texture is similar to the briyani (indian rice), but it is not that dry, the clams and squids are great too. We ended our dinner with a portion of Tiramisu from their dessert list.
