During my recent trip to Singapore, i had a chance to stay at Regent Hotel by Four Seasons Singapore. Located in the Tanglin area, the neighbourhood will allow you to chill and escape the busy Singapore with its Botanical Garden and the silent jogging time in the morning. Stone throw away from Orchard Road as well, you will not have to miss the latest shopping deal either.
When i arrive, i suppose the hotel was quite crowded so i need to wait quite long to get into the check in. The lobby staff was not very attentive as i was dragging my luggage alone and no one asked until i reach the front desk for check in. I leave my baggage first cause i need to hurry to meet my friends. I came back in the noon to my room, and thankfully it gives a pleasant feeling. Nothing to complain about the Deluxe room with a view to the main road since i just need to relax after a long day before heading out to dinner again. Seating area with sofa, tv, and working table. Available magazine includes the Four Seasons Magazine, Time, and National Geographic.
I like how the king size bed and pillows are hard (i'm sorry i have scoliosis so it's kinda uncomfortable to sleep on soft pillows). The room itself is super clean, including the wardrobe, so all is fine (oh yes i'm one of those who love to check the cleanliness before sleeping in new place). Overall it has a nice setting with warm decor and elegant details on the door and drawers.
Bathroom area with marble tiles and bath tub and L'ocitane amenities. When staying in hotels, i always pick the room with bath tub, i don't know it kinda give the chill holiday relax time.
The fully loaded bar area with various food and drinks in the fridge.

Their infamous Basilico restaurant serve one of the best all you can eat breakfast in the city, too bad i did not have time to try since i was heading somewhere else in the morning. Oh ya i love the souvenir shop in the lobby, buying organic food and chocolates there!
Rating: (solo traveller)
Cleanliness: 4.5/5 (clean room, clean bath, no dust in the wardrobe, all good for me)
Amenities: 5/5 ( like you have all you need inside, they also generously replenish bottled water and asking if you need anything else)
Sleep quality: 5/5
Hotel area: 5/5 (very strategic, not noisy, easy bus access to city centre)
Service: 3.8/5 (had to wait long for checking in, but checking out was ok, concierge desk and lobby staff was not very attentive if i want to compare with other hotels, i expected more out of a 5 star luxury hotels)
What's around the neighbourhood:
Eat: Chili's, Brunetti, Hard Rock Cafe, Akashi Japanese restaurant, Nasim Hill Bakery
Visit: Botanical Garden
Shop: House of AnLi, Woodbox (Tanglin Mall), Hediard Paris
