Hi guys, how has your week been? I am staying home for the entire weekend as I am working at home and just feeling the need to recharge after such busy week. Staying home allows me to have some me time, yay to new books, new beauty products, and home aroma therapy. So today I also just got a chance to edit my youtube videos (honestly, made during the year end) and this simple hair tutorial. Oh by the way, I have just cut my hair short and recolored it, will post newest photo soon!
I would love to show you a photo of me with straight hair today! Since my natural hair is wavy, honestly i don't really do a lot of styling. For special occasions, usually i did the blow dry or I will use a curler. On the other hand, I guess it has been years since I last owned a flat iron and style my hair straight. So here it goes! If you would love to see the tutorial, watch the video on my channel!
My Diamond Hair Styler comes from Irresistible Me- a handy and stylish flat iron with dual voltage. It has temperature controller that can be adjusted according to your need. The tool also changes the temperature (in celcius/fahrenheit) depending on the supplied voltage. It is really fast to heat up! I was so surprised that it only took me two minutes! If you are looking for one, they have an online store so you can just go straight to the webstore and have it delivered to your home. The smart flat iron has a unique diamond hi-tech, which coats the ceramic plates with crushed diamond particles and tourmaline, making it durable, does not dry your hair, and leaving your hair healthy, shiny, and frizz free.
Before using the flat iron, I sprayed my hair with some hair tonic then parted my hair. Some people start with the back hair, but I started with the front part as I want to see the result immediately hahaha. I started with the top part near the root then going downwards, leaving it a bit longer for the bottom part as it is more curly.
I repeated the steps about 2-3 times to get the desired very straight look. The process is so fast, I guess it took me around 20 minutes to style my hair and it stays for hours. So here's the "after" result. What do you think?
