8 Luxury Hotels for Your Next Travel Destination Around the World

As the world slowly heals and countries reopened their borders, so is the hospitality industry. A handful of hotels around the world have resumed their business and welcome travellers. The hospitality industry is aware of the current climate and most of them have heightened their hygiene measure and safety protocol. Here are 8 luxury hotels for your next travel destination around the world for your inspiration whenever you are ready to travel again.

1. The Legian Seminyak - Bali, Indonesia

The Legian Seminyak Hotel is one of the island’s most iconic and best loved luxury hotels. Thanks to its unparalleled elevated location on one of Bali’s best beaches, the hotel offers uninterrupted views across Seminyak beach and of Bali’s renowned sunsets. The hotel is part of the Leading Hotels of the World. Its 14 private pool villas and 67 sea-facing suites offer guests the chance to enjoy these spectacular views from the privacy of their own rooms, as well as from the hotel’s three-tiered beach-facing infinity pool leading down onto its private section of beach.

At the moment, the hotel has reopened. There are some new protocols upon reopening. All guests, employees and vendors will have their temperature checked when entering the property. Anyone who records a higher-than-normal temperature will not be permitted to enter, and will be checked by a medical professional. In addition to thorough cleaning and disinfection protocols in place throughout, the hotel is also home to an in-house clinic open daily from 8am to 8pm. Rates start from $498 (£405) per night.

Set on the ivory sands of the Riviera Maya, Hotel Esencia was originally built as the private holiday home of an Italian duchess. The hotel will also unveil its most private suite, taking exclusivity to the next level: The Presidential Bungalow, a Caribbean-style beachfront suite set on its own 30,000ft2 independent property. Upon reopening, the hotel will be going totally paperless. Instead, guests will come across different QR codes in various different parts of the hotel to scan with their smartphones. Any information they need – menus, guides and the like – will pop up on their own device totally personalised. Check-ins will also be paperless, with guests signing any ‘paperwork’ on their own phone with their finger, so there is no need to touch one of Hotel Esencia’s pens or iPad. The hotel has reopened its premise as per today. Rates start from $600.

8. White Elephant Palm Beach - Florida, United States of America

From an icon of Nantucket hospitality, will come a fully renovated destination resort in Palm Beach. The new White Elephant Palm Beach Hotel, opening in September 2020, is being completely reimagined by Boston-based New England Development, and represents the total renovation of the Bradley Park Hotel which dates back to the 1920s and was one of the first hotels in the area. Located on Sunset Avenue, White Elephant Palm Beach will be home to 13 rooms and 19 suites spread across four storeys. The hotel will maintain the welcoming feel of a private residence, with each accommodation offering a private outdoor space draped in a neutral colour palate and bringing timeless seaside New England charm to South Florida. Contrary to the bright pinks and greens that dominate the Palm Beach aesthetic, the new White Elephant Palm Beach will showcase the subtlety of Nantucket Island’s luxury and elegance to the South Florida social scene, with a brand-new Palm Beach sensibility.

  2. THE LEGIAN SEMINYAK has a clinic?! Wow, that's uping their service, I find that pretty cool. I've always wanted to go to the Maldives, I mean who wouldn't want to spend vacay in a bungalow over turquoise waters. All of these locations look stunning and a vacay to any one of them would be exciting. Thanks for doing the research and sharing doll!
