MCM goes from Munich to Mars this Autumn Winter 2024
Designed by Creative Director, Katie Chung, the collection unfolds at Palazzo Serbelloni, Milan, on 22nd February. The historic venue is transformed with elements symbolizing Earth and Mars and evokes intrigue and wonder, while offering attendees a glimpse into two distinct worlds. Two portals serve as a gateway between Earth and Mars, setting an extraordinary stage for the collection to be showcased. By dedicated concept of Palazzo Serbelloni attracted the attendance of numerous key VIPs including renowned Thai actor Mew (Suppasit Jongcheveevat) and fashion icons Saffron Sharpe and Savina Chow.
Pushing the boundaries of innovation & expression, MCM's AW24 collection reinvents iconic styles and plays with heritage codes, offering a fresh perspective on luxury Key pieces include the exclusive Black Label line, an evolution of elegance, and the new ’it shape’ Diamante 3D and Diamante Soft, serving as season highlights with their confidence and sophistication. Breaking new frontiers in sustainability, the MIRUM@ capsule introduces sustainable, plant-based leather alternatives, marking a major step forward in eco-conscious luxury. In ready-to- wear, an exploration of new materials takes center stage with the introduction of Laurel Denim Jacquard, Monogram Re-Nylon, metallic leather, and refined grain leather. To complete the collection, footwear styles take a step forward with the new Silver Swarowski Ballerinas, Monogrammed Moccasins and metallic snow boots.
The new eyewear partnership with Marcolin introduces AW24 styles with a selection exclusively presented through new virtual try on technology: Deepixel. Additionally, the new Inter Parfums, Inc fragrance MCM Crush, adds a touch of allure. To add to the AW24 collection, MCM and Harper Collective - the visionary lifestyle luggage brand co-founded by Jaden Smith and Sebastian Manes - tease a Sustainable Travel Lifestyle Brand Collaboration, pioneering eco- conscious luxury with three distinct suitcase silhouettes.
