Ulun Ubud Resort Review
Ulun Ubud Resort, Bali, is one of many family owned hotel in Ubud. It is located at Sanggingan area, around 10 minutes from Central Ubud. The owner is a famous Balinese woodcarver family and the artsy and delicate wooden furniture is evident throughout the resort. The resort itself was built in 1987 and was revamped in 2016. The hillside hotel has a total of 31 modern Balinese suite rooms. If you want to see or buy the woodcarving, you can do so in the art shop at the lobby.Location overview
Located at Raya Sanggingan Road, the resort is on the quieter side of Ubud, but not too far from the main road. It takes about 10 minutes from Ubud market to this place by car. I love this area as it gives you a sense of tranquility and calm time during your stay. Nearby the resort, there is my favourite dessert place called Room 4 Dessert Ubud. They have jazz live music too, so you gotta check it out. You can check other activities in Ubud on this blog post. For sustainability, the hotel resource all material for the building and furniture locally. The View and Amenities
Facing the hill, the hotel offers a greenery forest view. The strewn down stairs will lead you to the main pool. Honestly the pool size is not as big as the other famous resorts in Ubud, but I love how tranquil it is. The restaurant is located above and it also offers you a 360 degrees greenery view. You order the breakfast off the menu, so it is not a buffet style. Nevertheless the food was quite nice and decent. On the other side, the staffs are attentive and I like that the check in process was a breeze. Also Read: Alchemy Organic Cafe in Bali
