Lavender Afternoon Tea at The Okura Prestige Bangkok

As Bangkok is heading towards the new normal and to spice up the summer season, The Okra Prestige Bangkok comes up with a delectable afternoon tea set for guests to enjoy. Executive Pastry Chef Sebastiaan Hoogewerf and his talented pastry chefs at The Okura Prestige Bangkok have created a wonderfully refreshing Lavender Afternoon Tea at Up & Above Bar. If you are in Bangkok, this is something that you don't want to miss.

The Menu Details

From July through to September guests can indulge in sweet treats that include mixed berry macarons, black current bon bon, Hokkaido mousse, blackcurrant jelly and almond financier, coconut mousse and lavender yuzu jelly, dark cherry coconut crumble, blueberry and yuzu tart, yoghurt panacotta with forrest berries, purple potato sorbet and organic blueberry scones with clotted cream, jams and marmalade. The food and drinks served is totally delectable and instagrammable. It is a great idea to take a breathe after spending the entire day exploring  the floating market or shopping in the city.

Freshly brewed coffee, Mariage Frères or Saro tea make the perfect companions to these sweet delights. Along with the confections the tea also includes savoury bites and sandwiches such as vegetarian pesto brioche with ikura, traditional cucumber and coronation chicken sandwiches and artisan salmon gravlax.
