Fenty Beauty Kilawatt Highlighter Review

Details of the Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo

Hello everyone welcome back! Today we're going to review the Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo which I got recently from Sephora Singapore. I love their minimalist packaging that has a geometric shape. I feel it's very sleek and pretty. This Killawatt highlighter contains two shades which are called Chic Phreak and Girl Next Door. Both shades have a slightly pink hue. The powder texture is loaded with fine shimmer.

Swatches and Test Drive

Now I'm going to show you the shade of this Fenty Beauty duo highlighter on my hand and also how it appears on my cheek. I wore the lighter shade on the inner side of my cheek bone and the darker shade on the outer edge of my cheek bone. Honestly, on the hand you can tell the difference that one shade is a bit more pink and has a deeper hue. The texture is creamy and it glides smoothly. There's a little fall out but not much. On the other side, when I apply it on my cheek, you can't really see much difference as they both look pink, even though the Chic Phreak shade shows a bit more dark pink shade. You can use it on your cheekbone, bridge of the nose, above your upper lips, and even on the collar bone for summer body highlight.

What I Love about the Fenty Beauty Killawatt

I have a medium neutral skin tone and I feel it shows nicely on my cheek and gives me that rosy glow. It is one of the more blinding highlighters out there in the market and the pigment really shows up. It's perfect for those who love a powerful highlighter for their make up routine. You literally can spot it from miles away. Besides that, I feel that it can be used for both highlighter and blusher. Talking about a multifunction product? Yes girlll! Furthermore, the reason I love Fenty Beauty as a brand is because of their inclusivity. They think of different skin tones for their product range. Look at this highlighter which I feel suits my Asian skin tone very well. Their range of Foundation is definitely one of the best in the market. As a consumer we got to choose how we spend our dollars and I feel that the value of equality and inclusivity suit my personal value. It's great to shop for items that brings you fulfilment not only on the outside but also on the inside. Do you agree? What's you view on this?

  3. I love their packaging, too. It’s cool how they found away to create a nice notable packaging without over the top designs. The highlight looks beautiful on you, babe!

  5. This is such a great review! That ballet pink highlighter looks so great on you! I usually stick to gold highlighters, but I'm so intrigued by such a natural shade of pink. I have the Fenty killawatt highlighters in mimosa sunrise/sangria sunset (pink/orange) and trophy wife (a very crazy shade of gold). I love the texture and look of them, but I don't reach for them often because they are really unnatural looking. Your makeup always looks so glowy and gorgeous!

  6. Woow I totally love your result, it looks straight from a beauty-fashion editorial: very subtle but glam at the same time.

I have heard a lot about Fenty products, and despite I do not know a lot about make up I can see that Rihanna and her team are doing a great job by adding a rainbow of tones and bases for all the skin and that's very valuable.

Also the packaging, the love for a brand start from the eye and they clearly know that! They look almost like collectible pieces that deserve to be displayed!
