Yoga Barn Ubud Bali

Yoga Barn Ubud Bali Review

Yoga Barn Ubud Bali Overview

One of my safe places and most favourite venue to practice Yoga in Bali. Yoga Barn is a must visit every time I drop by Ubud, Bali. The venue is easily accessible in one of Ubud main roads. With so many yoga classes available for beginner and advance student, the space provides various styles for everyone. It also has various spiritual classes, massage, and therapy for those looking for a grater experience beyond yoga. Read below to find our more about the classes and the space.

How to get to Yoga Barn and Space Overview

Located at the junction of Hanoman Road and Pengosekan Road (see the map here), Yoga Barn is tucked in a little alley that leads to a bigger space inside. Parking space is limited here, it is better to walk or take a scooter and bigger carpark is located in the Monkey Forest Area. The entire area is open air with lush jungle and plantation. The compound is dominated by wooden and stone material in earthy colours, as well as terracotta walls to complement the space. There are 2 indoor class areas and 1 outdoor class area above the reception. In the area you can also find their restaurant named Garden Kafe and Juice Bar that served healthy food and juices. They also have guest house that can be rented if you are taking the Yoga there or Yoga Teacher Training.

Yoga Barn Ubud Bali Yoga Experience

Yoga Barn has several classes on the daily schedule. It includes yoga basics like morning flow, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Kundalini. Aside from yoga, they also have classes like flying yoga, qi gong, dance, meditation, yoga nidra, sound bath and healing. There always new things to try every day and I guarantee that you won't be bored. Classes can be purchased though drop in payment or you can opt for the unlimited 7 and 30 days package. If you are looking to explore other spiritual based practices, they have different events, workshop and special classes each month like Reiki Study, kinesiology, mastering sound healing, detox program, and many more. I have personally tried several different classes since 2015 and I have been loving it so far. As I said, I have always came back to this place if I'm looking to do yoga in Bali, mostly during my solo travel.

Energy Healing and Hands on Healing in Bali

For those seeking some relaxation time, they have Kush Ayuverdic Spa that has several menu like body and facial massage, abhyanga massage, shiatsu massage, and the likes. These includes energy healing like reiki, qi healing, chakra healing, and other wellbeing services like hypnotherapy session, counselling session, detox session, craniosacral therapy, esalen massage, vedic astrology and many more.
